She was born Orris Blakely Sabrina Lydia Bickford on March 21, 1934 in Alameda, California, the daughter of Diana MarieBlakely and her husband Dr. William B. Bicksford. After entering the Southern California College of Optometry, she attended college for two years, earning a Bachelor of Visual Science in 1986 and a Master of Science in Optology in 1988. She received her PhD in Optometry from the University of California at San Diego School of Medicine in Los Angeles in 1988 and her PhD in 1989.
She is fluent in English, German, Spanish and Farsi and is a member of the Association of American Physicians. Dr. Zahedy began her medical career at the University of California at San Diego School of Medicine in Los Angeles, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Optometry and a Master of Sciences in Optometry in 1988. She completed and continued her residency program at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut. After completing her internship in Geisinger's health care system, she moved to Pennsylvania and began a residency at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She combines her medical knowledge with an artistic eye for cosmetic precision to offer a holistic approach to medicine. She offers her patients the best of both worlds in terms of medical care and cosmetic care, and she tries her best to answer all their concerns.
